Professional Background

Dennis Straube is the owner of Thunder Media Co., a full stack marketing company located in Central New Jersey. He has been working in the multimedia & marketing space for over 14 years.
He graduated from The Institute of Audio Research in Manhattan in 2011 with a focus on Audio Engineering & won the award for “Best Original Score” for a short film called “Subways”. While enrolled in IAR, he got his start in the marketing space as a graphic designer working for professional photographer Marina Movschowitz. While working with Marina, he honed his marketing skills and developed an interest in photography & cinematography. After several years of utilizing his marketing and multimedia skills in a variety of industries including real estate, mortgages, plumbing, & HVAC while maintaining clients through Thunder Media, Dennis recognized his desire to somehow combine the love of his craft with furthering God's kingdom - he just didn’t quite have the full picture.
Transition to The Pastors Lounge

When Sheri presented the nebulous idea of The Pastors Lounge to Dennis one random night in 2021- somewhere between their recent marriage and 2 under 2 year olds, Dennis didn't bat an eyelash. He knew he had found the answer to his life question- his mission- to amplify God’s work through marketing and media partnerships with Christian owned businesses. He never realized all of his skills and talents gleaned over many big and small jobs had led him to this moment– building a company with his wife that would have a global impact. And bonus– she gave him FULL creative license- no questions asked! With the guidance of the Holy Spirit combined with his divine life experiences, Dennis has brought the Pastors Lounge from a messy, complex dream to a flourishing, top shelf business, which he hopes to spend the rest of his life successfully building while helping other like-minded Christian businesses flourish as well.

A day in the life and a few fun facts

Dennis resides in Central Jersey with his family-he is a proud girl dad to his daughters who are already showing signs of picking up on his adventurousness. When Dennis is not working on his mission, he can be found road or trail biking, or working on his bikes, listening to or playing music or catching up on his favorite sci-fi or thriller movies.

Early Riser or Night owl? Neither… I was once a night owl, but that was promptly fixed when our girls were born.

Advice for your younger self: Have the courage to be yourself. It's truly amazing to me now when I think back on how self conscious I was in a time where everyone around me was also lacking confidence. Also Seek Discomfort. Discomfort drives you towards change and growth.
