What is the SWORD Assessment?
The SWORD assessment is a comprehensive, self-reflective wholeness evaluation specifically for pastors and ministry leaders. It is designed to highlight potential areas of vulnerability in mental, physical, spiritual and relational health. It concludes with realistic action items to ensure the reader has immediate improvement takeaways.
Self care is not selfish. You cannot serve from an empty vessel.
With great gifting comes great responsibility, and it is essential to take a moment to ensure you are supported, whole, ordered, ready and disciplined enough to have the lasting power and impact that the Lord intended.
Are You: Supported, Whole, Ordered, Ready, & Disciplined?
Supported → Who’s in your safety net? How’s your personal accountability?

Whole → Are you Spiritually, Physically, Mentally and Emotionally fit?

Ordered → Are you clear who has called you? Is it God or others ?

Ready → Are you character tested, properly trained and guided?

Disciplined → Are you committed to and consistent in preserving your calling through repeated healthy and righteous actions?
Why should I take the SWORD Assesment?
​The assessment will target your “fitness” in areas of accountability, health, preparation, and consistency through a series of thought-provoking questions. The results and subsequent consultation discussion will shine a light on areas needing additional scaffolding and will conclude with suggested areas of follow up for improvement.
Process
Pray first, then take your time to answer the questions. Do not rush, and give your honest and first responses to each question without self judgment. Try not to overthink.​
